About Us

Give Us Space

 Our Story :

Give Us Space was founded in February 2024 to address a critical need in our communities. We recognized that youth today are increasingly caught between the heavy influence of social media and the hazards of the urban streets, leaving them with few safe spaces to simply create. Alongside my wife and co-founder, La Tay J. Bryant Bey, we built Give Us Space to be that safe haven. We are dedicated to giving kids the tools and the environment to design the future. By focusing on cutting-edge fields like aeronautics, space exploration, and advanced propulsion systems, we are helping youth channel their energy into shaping tomorrow's technology. Our ongoing mission is to bring this opportunity to every community by opening a Give Us Space innovation center in every city.

Foundation Program Overview

The GUS Philosophy GUS (Give Us Space) is a transformative youth initiative founded by Tometheus L. Bryant and La Tay J. Bryant Bey. We believe in more than just teaching; we believe in giving youth the space—physically, mentally, and creatively—to look at the universe through a new lens.

  • Our Mission: To foster curiosity, confidence, and long-term interest in STEM through leadership, fellowship, and community engagement.
  • Our Vision: A nationally recognized hub where young innovators explore space science, engineering, and creative technology.

Foundation Program Overview

Integrating unconventional philosophical frameworks—such as those centered on geometric visualization, fundamental structural patterns, and the questioning of established mathematical axioms—can serve as a powerful pedagogical tool for stimulating creative thinking within our GUS program.

By positioning these inquiries as "Critical Thinking" and "Innovative Modeling" modules within your Creative Expression Zone and STEM Learning Tracks, we allow students to explore the boundaries of physics and mathematics without compromising the core technical rigor of the GUS curriculum.

Professional & Scientific Grounding

While mainstream mathematics and physics rely on rigorous, peer-reviewed axiom systems, the process of inquiry is where innovation resides. By framing these unconventional approaches as "philosophical exercises" rather than "alternative scientific facts," you accomplish three critical educational objectives:

  1. Engaging Diverse Learners: Students who may struggle with rote memorization often excel when allowed to approach STEM through visual, intuitive, and structural patterns.
  2. Building Critical Thinking: Comparing "standard" models against "alternative" conceptual models sharpens the student’s ability to analyze and argue for the validity of scientific theories.
  3. Nurturing Fearless Innovation: You provide the "space" for youth to dream beyond Earth—not just in destination, but in the very tools they use to think, hypothesize, and create.

By utilizing this approach, GUS can maintain its commitment to "high-quality STEM education" while uniquely distinguishing itself as a hub for both technical proficiency and radical creative curiosity.
